Safety Guide

Is the Litbuy Spreadsheet Safe?

The short answer is yes — when you follow the right process. This guide covers exactly what the real risks are, how to verify product quality before anything ships, and why LITBUY is one of the most trusted agents for buying from Chinese marketplaces.

Verdict: Safe When Used Correctly

The Litbuy Spreadsheet is a legitimate, community-maintained product database. Buying through it via LITBUY agent is safe for the vast majority of buyers. The risks that exist are manageable: they're reduced significantly by reviewing QC photos, choosing vetted sellers with strong batch feedback, and using an agent that offers warehouse inspection before shipment.

What Makes the Litbuy Spreadsheet Safe to Use

The Litbuy Spreadsheet has several built-in safeguards that make buying from Chinese platforms safer than navigating them alone:

Community-verified sellers: Every seller listed has been reviewed by actual buyers. Bad sellers are flagged, good batches are rated, and the community actively updates recommendations based on current quality.
Real QC photos from previous orders: Before you buy, you can see photos from real orders — not marketing images. This tells you the actual build quality, color accuracy, and finish of the product.
Warehouse inspection by LITBUY: When your order arrives at the LITBUY warehouse, the team photographs it before it ever ships to you. If anything looks wrong, you can reject it and request a return or refund.
USD pricing with no hidden fees: Prices are listed in CNY with USD equivalent so you know exactly what you're paying — there's no markup on the product price from LITBUY.
Direct platform links: Every product links directly to its Taobao, Weidian, or 1688 listing — you can verify the source before ordering.

Real Risks to Be Aware Of

No purchasing process is completely without risk. Here are the actual risks buyers encounter and how to manage them:

Risk 1: Product quality doesn't match expectations

This is the most common issue. A seller's photos may look better than the actual item. The fix: always check community QC photos from previous buyers, not the seller's listing images. Choose batches with consistent positive reviews across multiple buyers.

Risk 2: Sizing differences from Chinese vs. international standards

Chinese sizing runs smaller. Most Litbuy Spreadsheet listings include sizing notes from buyers. Always read size feedback before ordering shoes or clothing, and size up when in doubt.

Risk 3: Customs duties and import taxes

International packages may be subject to customs duties in your country. This is not a Litbuy or LITBUY issue — it depends entirely on your country's import regulations and the declared value of your package. Research your local customs rules before ordering high-value items.

Risk 4: Shipping delays

International shipping from China typically takes 7–20 days. This can extend during peak periods or due to customs processing. LITBUY provides tracking for all shipments, and express options are available if you need faster delivery.

Risk 5: Dead or outdated product links

Sellers occasionally remove or relist products on Taobao and Weidian. The Litbuy Spreadsheet is updated regularly to remove dead links, but some listings may become unavailable. If a link doesn't work, search for the product by name on the spreadsheet to find an active alternative seller.

Safety Checklist Before Every Order

Follow this checklist before placing any Litbuy Spreadsheet order to maximize your chances of a positive experience:

Check the QC photos in the product listing — look for multiple photos from different buyers, not just one or two
Read the batch rating — choose the batch with the most consistent positive feedback, not necessarily the cheapest
Verify the seller link is active and matches the product you want
Check sizing notes from other buyers, especially for shoes and clothing
Confirm your shipping address and choose a shipping method with tracking
Review your QC photos carefully when they arrive at the LITBUY warehouse before approving shipment
Know your country's customs rules before ordering high-value items

Is LITBUY a Trusted Shopping Agent?

Yes. LITBUY is one of the most actively used shopping agents in the Litbuy community, with a strong presence across Reddit (r/Repcnbuy), Telegram, and WhatsApp. Key trust factors:

Warehouse QC inspection: Every item is photographed before shipping internationally — this is the most important buyer protection in the process
0% product markup: You pay the exact Chinese marketplace price, not an inflated reseller price
Free warehousing: Items are stored at no extra cost until you're ready to ship
International shipping to 100+ countries: Multiple shipping methods with real-time tracking
Active community support: Real users share order experiences, QC results, and agent reviews on Reddit and Telegram daily

Frequently Asked Questions About Safety

Is buying from the Litbuy Spreadsheet legal?

Yes. Purchasing products from Taobao, Weidian, and 1688 via a shopping agent is legal. You're buying products from Chinese e-commerce platforms. You are responsible for customs compliance in your own country, which varies by location and product type.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

If the item looks wrong in the QC photos at the LITBUY warehouse, you can reject it before it ships. After international delivery, LITBUY has a dispute resolution process for damaged goods. Always photograph your item when it arrives as evidence for any claims.

Can I trust the QC photos shared on the spreadsheet?

QC photos on the Litbuy Spreadsheet come from real buyers, not the seller or platform. They show the actual product received. Photos from multiple buyers for the same batch give you the most reliable picture of quality. Single-source QC photos should be treated with more caution.

Is the Litbuy Spreadsheet website itself safe to use?

Yes. Litbuy Spreadsheet Hub is an independent information and navigation site. It doesn't collect payment information or handle transactions. All purchases are made directly through LITBUY's platform. Read about this site →
